The Bookkeeper / Office Assistant will be performing duties of an accounting assistant, office administrator, human resource assistant, and project management assistant.
This position will be responsible for all aspects of AP/AR including invoicing, expense tracking, filing, bank deposits, payroll processing, clerical support for employees, and acting as a liaison between the organization and its vendors. This role will assist in recruitment efforts, perform orientation and training, as well as write and maintain the policies and procedures for the office and staff. Maintenance of numerous reports and spreadsheets will be a key part of the position, so Excel experience required.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bookkeeping experience (5 years of experience)
- Proficient Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong professional business communication skills, including emailing, financial reports, and other department documentation
- Customer service and interpersonal skills
- Project management abilities including multitasking, prioritization, and deadline management
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Strong math skills
