Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Paralegal to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will ensure effective case management by providing top-notch legal assistance under the supervision of an attorney. This individual will communicate frequently with clients to provide outstanding customer service and support the day-to-day operations of the firm.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
· Extensive experience as a paralegal
· Familiarity with criminal defense and personal injury cases preferred
· Ability to work promptly, organized, and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
Document Preparation
· Draft legal documents
· Prepare and organize case files
· Prepare exhibit packages for court
· File court documents
Case Management
· Assist with case planning, development, and management
· Organize evidence and exhibits for trials or hearings
· Prepare summaries of witness statements
· Keep track of deadlines and other important dates
· Maintain and compile important records
· Develop and maintain records of billable hours
Communication
· Communicate with clients and witnesses
· Gather relevant information and documents from clients
· Provide updates to clients
· Communicate with courts, correctional facilities, other law firms, service providers, medical providers, and insurance companies
Other Duties
· Assist lawyers with trial preparation and tasks during trials
· Conduct occasional legal research
