Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team; 2 year minimum experience required. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves various tasks related to landscaping, including mowing, tree care, and groundskeeping. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with other team members to ensure that all landscaping projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for various landscaping tasks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in tree trimming and care, promoting healthy growth and aesthetics.
- Engage in groundskeeping activities, including weeding, mulching, and planting flowers or shrubs.
- Execute hardscape projects such as installing patios or walkways as needed.
- Dig trenches for irrigation systems or planting beds, ensuring proper depth and alignment.
- Maintain equipment by performing basic mechanical checks and routine maintenance.
Skills
- Proficient in using power tools such as edgers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Knowledge of plant care practices and ability to perform plant/shrub trimming safely.
- Familiarity with groundskeeping techniques and best practices for maintaining landscapes.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining landscaping equipment is a plus.
- Ability to dig effectively for planting or installation tasks.
- Experience with hardscape installation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
