Description

The title Loans Manager preserves company assets by controlling delinquent loans though contacting customers, sending letters, setting up repayment plans, processing repossessions, foreclosures, charge offs, recoveries, bankruptcies, impounds and skip claims.

Perfects liens on Titles, Deeds and processes paid off loans in a timely and accurate manner.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Make contact with customers on delinquent loans in the attempt to set up a repayment plans. Takes appropriate action when repayment plans are not fulfilled.
• Work with third parties to recover and sale collateral. Processes skip and collateral damage claims.
• Completes charge offs and sends charge offs to collections or attorney based on company policy. Processes and accounts for all recoveries.
• Follows policies, procedures, regulation and legal requirements to ensure the company remain in compliance. Stays current on collection practices or changes with compliance. Notifies management of any trends in loan underwriting that may have contributed to delinquent/charged-off loans.
• Processes all bankruptcies and tow notifications by taking immediate action when receiving any bankruptcy or tow notifications to ensure the company remain on compliance while protecting the collateral.
• Completes end of month collection reports
• Perfects liens on vehicle titles and corrects rejections
• Completes the paid loan process which includes releasing liens, issuing Gap refunds and sending customers all required paid loan documents
• Tracks and monitors all Title Loans to ensure accurate communication with customers
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience- One year to three years of similar or related experience.
• Education-A high school education or GED.
• Interpersonal Skills- Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
• Other Skills- Talks to others to convey information effectively. Communicates effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Maintains confidentiality related to company operations and work-related information. Computer operating systems; e.g. Microsoft Windows
