What are the responsibilities and job description for the After-School Algebra 1 Tutoring Positions – MS and HS-INTERNAL position at Liberty Middle School?
We are seeking experienced educators to provide targeted instruction for students preparing for the Algebra 1 Regents Exam. This after-school tutoring program will focus on strengthening algebraic concepts, problem-solving strategies, and test-taking skills to help students achieve success on the exam.
- Grades: 8-12 - 4 positions available
- Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (3 hours per week)
- Duration: 4 weeks; Week of 5/19/25, 5/27/25, 6/2/25 and 6/9/25
- Group Size: Maximum of 8 students per group
- Must be certified in Mathematics 7-12
- Teaching Time: 12 hours per teacher
- Prep Time: 6 hours per teacher
