Desktop Engineer - Hybrid

Are you a tech-savvy professional passionate about delivering seamless desktop and mobile experiences? Our client is looking for a Desktop Engineer to join their team and take charge of managing and optimizing our endpoint infrastructure with a strong focus on security and compliance.
About the Role:
As the Desktop Engineer, you ll be at the forefront of enhancing user experience and ensuring that our desktop and mobile environments are secure, compliant, and efficient. This role involves direct management of key platforms like SCCM, Intune, Conditional Access policies, Group Policies, and Asset Management.
What You ll Do:
Define and implement technology solutions and SOPs for endpoint upgrades.
Manage and optimize the desktop experience for all end users.
Oversee the configuration, deployment, and lifecycle of operating systems and applications.
Implement robust security practices, including conditional access policies and controls.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards across all devices.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to align infrastructure initiatives with business goals.
Provide technical leadership within the desktop ecosystem and partner with the Service Desk team.
Engage directly with end users to resolve technical issues and improve overall satisfaction.
Work cross-functionally with system administrators and analysts to address IT challenges.
What You Bring:
Proven experience with SCCM, Intune, Entra, Group Policies, and Windows OS.
A strong understanding of security and compliance in desktop and mobile environments.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to lead initiatives and collaborate across teams.
Work Schedule:
Hybrid schedule based in Newark, DE
Onsite presence required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Remote work available on other weekdays
