Legal Assistant - Hackensack, NJ
Role
The Legal Assistant will be responsible for providing support to attorneys and clients, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, organizing and maintaining case files, and assisting with administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assisting attorneys with case preparation and research
- Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
- Organizing and maintaining case files, including electronic filing systems
- Conducting legal research using online databases and other resources
- Communicating with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings
- Scheduling appointments, hearings, and meetings
- Assisting with court filings and other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
Compensation
60-70k depending on experience
