The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance while contributing to the strategic financial management of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Execute a comprehensive range of accounting activities spanning multiple divisions, including but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.
- Supervise and guide accounting staff, providing mentorship and support in daily operations while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established timelines.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline and enhance accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Perform detailed financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and facilitating audit inquiries.
- Engage in continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and effectiveness within the accounting function.
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards and procedures across divisions.
