Job Purpose
This position is, in essence, to please and attend to our devoted customer base at Liberty Puzzles. We have developed a warm, patient, and hands-on approach to customer service, which has become an essential part of our identity as a company. Essential responsibilities include responding to all customer inquiries and concerns through email, via phone, and in-person, maintaining an open line of communication with customers regarding the status of their online orders, accommodating special requests, and mediating communication with other company departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Kindly and warmly respond to in-person customer inquiries.
- Carefully attend to and follow up with all customer emails and voicemails.
- Provide engaging tours of the factory to customers and train incoming employees to give tours.
- Perform purchases, exchanges, and returns of product.
- Track lost packages, perform shipping investigations, and file UPS and USPS claims.
- Establish and maintain fruitful relationships with new and existing customers.
- Assist customers in placing custom puzzle orders.
- Format and process replacement puzzle piece requests.
- Periodically update Constant Contact email list.
- Order monthly company lunches.
- Manage office supply inventory.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness.
Required Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role. Microsoft Office proficiency and knowledge of Corel Graphics Suite, Stamps.com, and UPS software preferred.
- Ability to deal with multiple projects concurrently.
- Generous patience and grace under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with company employees.
- Take direction, ask appropriate questions, and complete tasks independently.
- Self-starter with a solid an ability to find tasks during “slow times”.
- Positive and adaptive attitude is a must.
