Job Summary
This position is for an Executive Assistant whose responsibility is to assist in planning, organizing and directing the administrative duties of the organization. This position plans and coordinates meetings, retreats, and special events for Hospital Authority, management team and other personnel. Serves as Hospital Authority Reporter, as well as schedules meetings and prepares minutes and agendas for the meetings. This position communicates with medical staff, other departments, patients, visitors, and outside agencies while maintaining confidentiality. The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
Job Qualifications
Minimum level of Education: Education level equivalent to completion of two (2) years of college with concentration in office administration preferred.
Formal Training: Advanced computer skills with word processing and spreadsheet capabilities. Ability to type sixty (60) words per minute preferred. Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher.
Licensure, Certifications & Registration: None required.
Work Experience: Advanced administrative assistant skills with experience in planning, organizing, facilitating, verbal and written communications, customer service, speedwriting or shorthand, and transcription. Two (2) years experience in an administrative assistant position.
