Sr. Facility Maintenance Technician
Shift : Tues-Sat : 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm
Pay Rate : $28 per hour
Our client is seeking a Senior Facility Maintenance Technician responsible for safely maintaining, repairing, replacing, and modifying all processing, packaging, and facility equipment to ensure peak efficiency and quality. This role also includes supervisory responsibilities and leadership functions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in planning and executing maintenance repairs.
- Ensure 100% functionality by completing work orders and logging corrective maintenance issues.
- Perform basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting, including AC & DC motor controls, solid-state motor controls, and test equipment .
- Support company objectives related to productivity, yields, food safety, quality, customer service, and cost efficiency .
- Oversee or conduct daily inspections, emergency repairs, routine adjustments, and scheduled preventive maintenance .
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to company policies, including GMP compliance, attendance, punctuality, efficiency, and personal hygiene .
- Provide support for Process Improvement (PI) projects and actively participate in safety teams .
- Act as a resource for troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues across the facility.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues while developing innovative solutions to recurring problems.
- Use multimeters and other diagnostic tools to measure and assess equipment performance.
- Interpret schematics, drawings, and manuals to facilitate maintenance and repairs.
- Exhibit strong organizational and analytical skills to plan and execute work effectively.
- Demonstrate math proficiency , including fractions, decimals, percentages, metric system calculations, ratios, and formulas relevant to maintenance work.
- Apply expertise in preventive and reliability-based maintenance practices.
- Experience in the food processing industry is highly preferred.
