Job Summary:
Liberty Tire Recycling is looking for a Maintenance Technician. As a maintenance technician, you would be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of industrial equipment, including shredding machines, granulators, and bucket elevators. This role requires a proactive approach to equipment maintenance, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely at our Salt Lake City, UT facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and other machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on company's equipment.
- Inspect and repair manufacturing machines as required.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Other duties as needed.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience as an Industrial technician, preferably in a recycling or manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical knowledge and experience with industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
- Certifications or technical training in mechanics and electrical systems is a plus
Education and Experience:
- 2-3 years experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry
