Job Summary
As a Marketing Coordinator, you’ll be key in executing digital marketing campaigns, creating compelling content, managing social media channels, and analyzing performance metrics. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across teams. Ideal candidates have experience with tools like online retailer platforms, email marketing software, basic graphic design, and a solid understanding of digital marketing strategies and trends. This in-person position will report to the Senior Marketing Manager. This Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the E-Commerce Specialist, our internal sales team, e-commerce retail partners, and third-party agencies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Optimize product listings on retailers' websites, including titles, descriptions, specifications, images, and videos, to align with brand standards and improve discoverability.
- Ensure consistency of product information across all retailer platforms.
- Researching new product keywords and analyzing market trends for digital commerce.
- Collaborate with retailers to implement best practices for SEO and merchandising strategies.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics on retailer websites, such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and sales trends.
- Conduct periodic audits of retailer content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Develop tailored digital assets (photos, videos, banners, etc.) for retailer platforms based on their requirements.
- Write product descriptions and marketing copy that emphasize sustainability and product benefits.
- Create promotional content for special campaigns, such as seasonal offerings or exclusive retailer promotions.
- Write and edit content for various channels, such as blog posts, social media, emails, and newsletters.
- Maintain the company’s website by updating content and ensuring brand consistency.
- Manage and schedule social media posts across platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Launch Pinterest and YouTube platforms.
- Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments or messages.
- Analyze social media metrics to gauge campaign effectiveness.
- Study competitor listings on retailer platforms to identify trends and opportunities for differentiation.
- Research customer reviews to gather insights into consumer preferences and pain points.
- Track promotional campaigns on retailer websites to evaluate performance and return on investment.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve visibility and sales.
- Work closely with sales, product development, and customer service teams to align marketing efforts.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external agencies.
- Support the implementation of brand guidelines across all departments.
- Coordinate meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.
- Organize and maintain a digital library of marketing assets in the Manage Artworks platform
- Stay updated on the latest marketing tools, technologies, and trends.
- Test new marketing strategies or platforms to improve efficiency and reach.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as needed by the marketing team.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Working knowledge of retailer portals such as Walmart, Lowe’s and The Home Depot.
- Experience with online graphic design platforms such as Canva.
- Working knowledge of the latest SEO/navigation techniques and algorithm updates.
- Experience with paid search, such as Meta and Google Ads.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
- Limited travel.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
- Knowledge of digital marketing sales and trends.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing or related roles.
