Outbound Shipping Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Outbound Shipping Associate to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient stacking and unstacking of trailers to ensure smooth warehouse operations. This position requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and accuracy standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trailer Stacking: Load and unload trailers with goods, stacking them according to size, weight, and type.
• Inventory Management: Ensure all items are accurately logged and organized in the trailer for easy retrieval.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse machinery, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment, to assist with stacking and moving goods.
• Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage during unloading or loading, and report any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
• Safety Standards: Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper handling of hazardous materials and safe stacking practices to prevent accidents and product damage.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the stacking area and trailers are clean and free from obstructions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of stacking tasks.
• Report Issues: Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (training may be provided).
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items (up to 40 Pounds).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes physically demanding environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Stamina for long periods of standing, walking, and manual labor.
• Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including temperature-controlled areas.

Job Type: Full-time
