What are the responsibilities and job description for the CASAS | Graduate Tutor Success Coach position at Liberty University?
The Tutoring Services Graduate Tutor Success Coach is primarily responsible for assisting the Assistant Director with coaching undergraduate tutors towards excellence in their position. This position will assist with communication, unofficial observations, and tutor training. Candidates are expected to possess excellent interpersonal skills, as well as be interested in providing feedback to others while encouraging best practices. Coaches may be required to assist with collection and analysis of Tutoring Services data such as satisfaction surveys, overall attendance, and anomalies. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
1. Instructional Responsibilities (75%) : Coaches tutors one-on-one. Develops and delivers training for tutoring staff under supervision of A.D. Researches and initiates professional development training presentations / resources for tutors.
2. Operational Responsibilities (25%) : Assists in tutor communication. Responds promptly to all communication and submits relevant paperwork in a timely manner. Analyzes Tutoring Services data as needed. Assists with scheduling and emailing as needed.

Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies
Minimum Qualifications :
1. Current local or residential graduate student at Liberty University.
2. 3.0 GPA.
3. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
4. Well-developed written communication skills.
5. Computer experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Canvas, and general technology skills.
6. Ability to multi-task.
7. Interacts positively with others.
8. Ability to work well under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications :
1. At least one semester of graduate school completed.
2. Management, tutoring and / or teaching experience.
3. Ability to work with individuals from varying educational, cultural, and social backgrounds.
4. Excellent level of responsibility, reliability, punctuality, and organization.
