Club Sports Facilities Student Assistant

1. Facility Upkeep and Cleanliness

• Follow opening and closing procedures.
• Perform walkthroughs of facilities to ensure they are kept neat and clean.
• Clean locker rooms in between uses.
• Clean and maintain public spaces such as lobbies, concourse and bathrooms.

2. Event and Game Day Operations

• Work various positions pertaining to game day operations such as, ice resurfacing and other positions as assigned.
• Assist the Assistant Director of Facilities and Events and Operations Assistants in regards to set up and tear down of events.

3. Ice Maintenance

• Drive Ice-Resurfacing machine to cut the ice in between rink sessions.
• Assist with movement of nets.
• Squeegee ice after machines have left the ice.

4. LaHaye Ice Center Operations

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the LaHaye Ice Center and other Club sports managed facilities.

5. Other Duties as Assigned

• Remains abreast of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services and leading industry performance benchmarks.
• Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.
