Responsible for supporting the Director of Sports Club in the overall management, development and execution of sports programs, events and operations. This role ensures high-quality member and resort guest experiences, involves overseeing day-to-day operations and contributing to the strategic growth of the club.
Essential job functions include:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the sports club.
- Run point on several large events throughout the year, including pro tennis and squash tournaments and Turkey Trot 5k.
- Work with the Director to develop and implement new revenue concepts for departments across Sports and Wellness departments.
- Support member events through presence and assisting with operational needs.
- Foster relationships with members and partners to promote club initiatives and growth.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide reports to the Director on club utilization and program success.
- Assist with creating, updating and distributing member communications.
- Serve as the primary liaison to the Food and Beverage team.
- Forecast and manage departmental expenses for operations.
- Represent Boar's Head Resort in the community to provide awareness and develop a source for prospective new members.
- Attend all Sports Club staff meetings and appropriate resort meetings.
- Work closely with entire staff to ensure that members are receiving the best possible experience.
- Address member inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Serve as Manager-on-Duty as scheduled.
