Liberty Village of Centralia is seeking a qualified Business Office Manager for our beautiful retirement community. Business Office Manager Duties
- Responsible for obtaining the necessary information to bill and collect all accounts on a timely basis for all payors.
- Responsible to reconcile Resident trust fund account on a weekly basis.
- Review and maintain daily census activity in Matrixcare system. Update Resident status changes from information obtained in the daily census
- Verify financial information has been obtained and is complete and scanned during the admission process.
- The complete process for obtaining preauthorization’s, reauthorizations and complete concurrent reviews on Managed Care Residents per policy.
- Submit all financial and clinical information needed to perform the Month End process to the appropriate person within the timeline provided.
- Ensure all ancillary charges are captured and submitted to the billing staff responsible for billing on a timely basis.
- Maintain a system of financial record keeping including issuing receipts, preparing bank deposits, and recording payments in accordance with proper segregation of duties.
- Complete Public Aid applications and redeterminations with Residents and families to ensure appropriate and timely payment for this payer class. Once complete then submit electronically thru appropriate staff.
- Coordinate with and communicate with the central billing office to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections
- Supervises Reception Staff
