Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Worker to perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure that our outpatient facility operates smoothly. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for contributing to a healing and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine building maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of equipment and building systems.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and effectively.
- Assist in ensuring that all safety standards are followed, and regulatory requirements are met.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of facility events or other related activities.
- Provide support for the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. Qualifications:
- Must have a valid drivers license and a personal vehicle (gas reimbursement).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in building maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a healthcare or outpatient facility is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials as needed.
