Overview:
Our established law firm is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Full-Time Bookkeeper with a minimum of 8 years of experience. Experience in law firm bookkeeping . The ideal candidate will have experience managing IOLTA accounts, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and communicate effectively with clients while maintaining strict confidentiality. We are looking for a long-term team member who values integrity, collaboration, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for client payments and expenses.
- Process payroll, manage accounts payable/receivable, and handle bank reconciliations.
- Generate end-of-month and end-of-year financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
- Track income and expenses, with a specific focus on managing IOLTA accounts.
- Conduct collections and manage client payments efficiently.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth workflow and ensure client files are updated.
- Prepare client ledgers and comprehensive financial requirement reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
- Oversee management of bank accounts.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of bookkeeping experience- Law firm experience
- Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with law firm management software, particularly Clio.
- Experience with IOLTA accounts is essential.
- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation, general ledger accounting, and trust account management.
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- HR experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
