JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our established, fast paced and busy law firm is seeking an experienced, motivated and aggressive sales and client retention intake manager for civil and criminal cases. Must have worked in a law firm previously and assisted with or directed the sales and retention of new clientele to the firm. The ideal candidate will have excellent client communication skills, ability to relate to a diverse group of people and must be sympathetic to client needs. This candidate will assist in managing client and attorney relations, transitioning and organizing attorneys and handling all aspects of client case matters starting with retention, preparation of retainers and files, transitions to lawyers, complaints, collection of paperwork in relation to their case and other things related to the management and data collection for their case.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
2. Must have a strong sales and closing talent and ability to effectively communicate to a diverse group of clientele.
3. A strong ability to command people's attention and ability to drive interest in the benefits of retaining the firm.
4. Must multi-task well and can work well under pressure as well as with a team.
5. Maintaining and Preparing accurate and organized client retainers/contract agreements as well as client files.
4. Gather and maintain confidential client information for client files.
5. Finance Calendaring-able to maintain, organize and diligently update deadlines for client payments.
6. Finance Collections-responsible for calling clients, processing payments and confirming completion of transactions.
7. Call Warming/Customer Service-Speaking with clients about their matters, sympathetic and personable attitudes, caring and professional. 8. Need to be a conversationalist and able to speak to people intelligently.
8. Effectively collaborate with the marketing department and maintain accurate call and status records of potential clients
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of client intake and case management. Law firm experience required. Strong sales background
2. Skills: Proficiency in entering data in the Clio database or other client file retention database.
3. Excellent communication and organizational skills and high attention to detail.
4. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
