Job Title: Project Manager with Dynatrace
Location: Houston, Texas Hybrid model
Long Term Contract
- Technical Acumen: Understanding of full-stack monitoring concepts, APM (Application Performance Monitoring), infrastructure monitoring, and log/trace analytics.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with Dynatrace's capabilities (custom dashboards, synthetic monitoring, etc.).
- Requirements Gathering & Scope Definition: Ability to work with cross-operational teams (Monitoring, infrastructure, application owners) to capture monitoring requirements and define the project scope
- Stakeholder Management: Managing expectations and aligning objectives across IT leadership, application teams, infrastructure teams, and security teams.
- Vendor & License Management: Experience working with third-party vendors like Dynatrace, handling licensing, contract terms, and renewals
- Agile/Hybrid Project Methodology Expertise: Applying Agile or hybrid methodologies for iterative deployments and quick feedback loops in instrumentation and dashboarding
- Risk & Change Management: Identifying technical and operational risks (e.g., agent compatibility, performance overhead) and managing change control effectively in production environments.
- Team Coordination & Resource Planning: Coordinating with internal teams (like network, infrastructure, Compute, Build, Monitoring etc.) and ensuring alignment on installation timelines and agent deployments.
- Integration Planning: Understanding the integration of Dynatrace with CI/CD tools, ticketing systems (like ServiceNow), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and collaboration tools (Slack, MS Teams).
- Reporting & Executive Communication: Translating technical implementation progress into business-focused updates, dashboards, and executive summaries.
- Post-Implementation Adoption & Traing: Driving end-user adoption through training sessions, documentation, and ensuring teams know how to use Dynatrace insights for proactive operations.
- Solutions Evaluations
- Contract negotiations and executions (SoW, PO etc.)
- TIR requests
- Set up of trial tenant and then transition to other environments
- Installation of OneAgent on Enterprise systems
- Work with vendor on post-implementation tasks and on-going support this year
