Job Description

Van Driver / General Cleaner

Licking / Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc.

Start Location : 65 S. 5th St. Newark, OH. 43055 (When driving)

End Location : DSCC / 401 N. Yearling Rd. Whitehall, Ohio 43213

Pay : $17.75 per hour (Cleaner) | $11.00 per hour (Driver)

Schedule : 5 : 30a – 4 : 30p M-F, Approx. 50 hours per week

Licking / Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. provides training, employment, and support services to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment.

Job Duties :

Transport employees to and from assigned location
Complete all assigned cleaning task per contract requirements
Comply with all production and quality control standards
Attend all training requirements as directed by supervisor
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Valid Ohio driver’s license and be insurable

Successfully pass a background and pre-employment drug screen. (THC included)

Skills / Abilities :

Must maintain a clean driving record and up-to-date Ohio driver’s license

Meet attendance standards

Ability to work without supervision

Meet established production and quality control standards

Operate floor cleaning equipment (training provided)

Ability to perform snow removal as required

Physical Requirements :

Lift up to 25 pds

Stand, bend, stoop, twist, turn, walk long distances, lift, push, reach, etc.

Paid holidays plus a paid week off between Christmas and New Year’s Day (after completion of introductory period)

One (1) week paid vacation annually after 1 year of service. Additional vacation time earned at 3 years and 5 years of service.
