What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Worker Supervisor position at Licking Regional Educational Service Center (ESC)?
The Licking Regional Educational Service Center is seeking a licensed Social Worker Supervisor to manage and support a team of Social Workers serving Tier 1 through Tier 3 students in the Newark City School District, and potentially Social Workers for the 2025-26 school year.
The ideal candidates will possess strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other service providers. We will consider candidates that possess, or have the ability to secure prior to employment, a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license. A Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required. Strong behavior management, and the ability to collaborate and communicate with parents, peers, administrators and other service providers are desired skills.
Salary will be based on experience and licensure.
