As the Landscape Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all day-to-day functions of this growing landscape maintenance company. As you work hand in hand with the Senior Management Team to meet the overall goals and financial targets, you will also keep a close eye on the day-to-day operations of the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead with strategic growth initiatives and budgets for the maintenance department.
- Responsible for recruitment, hiring and performance management of team members to ensure quality services and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee, monitor and provide guidance in the training provided to landscape teams.
- Develop and maintain long term relationships with clients by communicating on a regular and timely basis.
- Consistently offer additional services to clients, to educate and build customer confidence regarding the enhancement of their landscape investment.
- Introduce and meet with new clients to sell landscape maintenance contracts and enhancement services.
- Be a key component in branch snow and ice operations during the winter season.
- Meet regularly with the General Manager to review progress, sales goals and performance.
- A landscape professional with at least 10 years of industry experience.
- Must have horticultural knowledge
- A degree in horticulture, landscape design or related field is desired.
