Responsibilities
- Assist therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Provide support to patients during therapy sessions, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy equipment and treatment areas.
- Document patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist.
- Help with patient mobility and transfers as required.
- Engage with patients to encourage participation in their rehabilitation activities.
- Assist in preparing patients for therapy sessions by gathering necessary materials.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Experience or education in healthcare or rehabilitation settings is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles, particularly in geriatrics.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy is beneficial.
