Job Title: RN MDS Coordinator
We are seeking a skilled RN MDS Coordinator to join our team at Life Care Center of Coeur d'Alene.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assist with completion and submission of accurate and timely interdisciplinary MDS Assessments, CAAs, and Care Plans according to CMS RAI Manual Regulations and applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
- Implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
- Perform proficiently in all competency areas, including patient rights, safety and sanitation, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary and/or confidential information.
- Display integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and complete mandatory Code of Conduct and other compliance training.
Requirements:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Two (2) years of nursing experience, with geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge in the field of practice and familiarity with laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in post-acute care facilities.
