Daily Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time, ready to perform up to set standards.
- Maintain a professional appearance, personal hygiene, dress, and demeanor.
- Treat colleagues with respect and professionalism.
- Prepare food items according to knowledge and skills.
- Understand product information and alert manager to any issues.
- Have working knowledge of weights, measurements, and conversions.
- Read and follow recipes, medical dietary instructions, and Health Center resident situations.
- Assist in receiving and stocking orders, dating items before storage.
- Follow approved storage rules for cooked and raw products.
- Aware of State and Local regulations regarding food handling and obtain ServeSafe Certification within 6 months.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum one year restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Hourly Rate: $20.00/hr.
