Reports to : Director of Memory Care

Status : Hourly / Non-exempt

Pay Range : $16.00-$18.00, based on credentials and experience!

SCHEDULE : Full-time hours will vary between 9 : 00AM- 6 : 00 PM WITH ROTATING WEEKENDS

Our Providence Park location boasts stunning views of the ITC trail and is nestled in a beautiful natural setting full of wooded areas and Michigan wildlife.

Minimum Required Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities / life enrichment required

Essential Job Duties :

Responsible for assisting the Director of Life Enrichment & Director of Memory Care in planning, scheduling and coordinating meaningful activities appropriate to the needs and interests of Memory Care residents and conducive to their physical, mental and social well-being. Help to ensure the activity programs are appropriately presented by staff and works closely with the community's clinical team in an effort to promote open communication regarding the Memory Care resident's overall well-being.

  • Ensure active facilitation and successful implementation of the LCS Extraordinary Impressions hospitality program, LCS Cares Program and the Lifestyle & Healthy Services Program
  • Assist with planning and coordination of a balanced program of spiritual, emotional, intellectual, vocational, social, physical and environmental activities with the intent of including all residents in some area of lifestyle activity.
  • Assist in tracking of activity participation for all Memory Care residents.
  • Lead daily resident activities per our community standards.
  • Assist with preparing and distributing monthly calendars according to the Community standards.
  • Assist with gathering information, articles, and photos for newsletter
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of weekly program contents
  • Assist the Director in maintaining an adequate supply of adult activity materials.
  • May be responsible for transporting residents to appointments, as well as regular and special recreational outings.
  • Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy
