Essential Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the security department including schedules and staff.
- Provide staff management to including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.
- Coordinate daily and any on-call schedules to meet security needs.
- Hire, orient, train, schedule and supervise security staff.
- Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
- Make security checks throughout the building.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Four or more years’ experience working in a security position required.
- One or more years’ management experience required.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
First aid may be required based on state or facility.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
