We are seeking a proactive and motivated Network Administrator Intern to join our internal IT team at LCE. - From a technology perspective, LCE's Network Administrator Internship offers qualified applicants the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a range of cutting-edge technologies, including:
- Networking Protocols and Concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN
- Networking Hardware: Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Access Points
- Network Security: Firewalls, Encryption, IDS/IPS, URL/Application Filtering, 2FA
- Operating Systems & Virtualization: Windows Server, Linux, VMware, SDN
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting Tools: FortiAnalyzer, Log360, Lansweeper
- Network Performance & Optimization: Bandwidth Management, QoS, Traffic Shaping
- Collaboration Tools: Webex Control Hub Administration, Cloud Calling
- Basic Networking Knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN
- Familiarity with Networking Hardware: Routers, Switches, Firewalls
- Operating Systems Proficiency: Windows, Linux, macOS
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills: Written and Verbal
- Eagerness to Learn and Adapt
- Ability to Work Independently and on a Team
- CompTIA Network or Security
- Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing; occasional prolonged sitting
