Job description
In this role, you would be serving clients and families within the Department of Family and Children Services. With cases that are assigned to you, you would be the one to stay in touch with Case Managers, make and maintain contact with client, conduct random drug screen services, keep track & upload results and supporting documents.
The 5 counties we primarily serve is Cobb, Cherokee, Fulton, Paulding, and Douglas county. The ideal candidate for this role would be able and willing to travel to these counties as most services would be conducted in the community. We are looking for contractors who are passionate about their clients and who have experience providing drug screen services.
This is a 1099 contract role where you would also be using your own vehicle.
Life Empowerment Services is a social service agency, providing clinical services to families and individuals. We provide contract services via DFCS. Our home office is located in Cobb county.
Drug Screener
A Contractor position. Fee for services plus mileage reimbursement.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED required.
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Program Director, the Drug Screener is responsible for scheduling and providing drug screen collections to clients and families through the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Be a positive role model to all individuals and families that you encounter
- Provide drug screen services in either the clients’ home or at our office for: urine, hair, sweat patch, and/or saliva specimen collection, as requested by the DFCS Case Manager (Same sex observation required for all urine drug screens)
- Complete drug screen training and other yearly trainings as required by DFCS.
- Enter notes, upload results and supporting documents, and record mileage in a timely manner in Electronic Health Record System (EHR)
- Schedule, coordinate, and conduct drug screen appointments with clients and families.
- Collaborate with staff, case managers, other contractors, and community partners to ensure effective treatment and case collaboration
- Attend agency meetings

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Respect and integrity to all clients you may encounter
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years or older
- Pass all vital background checks/screenings
- Reliable Transportation
- Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the organization, including weekend availability
- Strong computer and internet skills including all MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a talent for customer service
- Must be efficient with strong attention to detail
- Ability to conduct oneself professionally and ethically with clients, co-workers and community partners
- Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise sound judgment and confidentiality with sensitive information

- Contract position providing behavior aide & transportation services in the community
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends fulfilling 15 hours/week minimum (part-time) or 30 hours/week minimum (full-time)

- In this role, you will also be using your own vehicle and would be reimbursed for mileage
