Job Summary
Living Independently Forever, Inc. (LIFE) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team to oversee the clinical practice of LIFE and and provide ABA therapies, conduct social skills groups, and oversee agency PBS plans for adults with autism, learning and intellectual disabilities. The BCBA would also provide professional development for staff.
This full-time salaried position: Monday-Friday with hours flexible to meet the needs of the individuals we support in need of services. We would also be willing to discuss a Part-Time role if that works better for you and meets the needs of LIFE individuals.
The home base for the position would be Cordage Park in Plymouth, MA.
Compensation: $80,000 - $85,000 per year (Full-Time depending on experience) plus a $1,000 Sign-on Bonus ($500 at 3 months and $500 at 6 months*)
Responsibilities include:
- Provide ABA therapies, completing initial assessments, reassessments and patient progress reports in a timely manner
- Develop, implement, and monitor positive behavior support plans including the completion of functional assessments
- Oversee behavior modifying medication treatment plans
- Provide ongoing Social Skills classes to individuals living in the community
- Update and maintain electronic healthcare record
- Provide Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) training, support, and supervision according to the BACB Supervision Standards for RBTs in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Provide support and instruction to families, guardians, and staff regarding behavior management, and generalization of newly acquired skills
- Serve as Qualified Clinician on PBS Leadership Committee, overseeing PBS plans, staff training on PBS, and the agency’s adherence to the Standards to Promote Dignity.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification required
- Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst License
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage, support, and motivate others
- Valid Driver’s license with an acceptable driving history
- Independent, reliable transportation
- Experience working with adults with autism, intellectual and learning disabilities preferred
- Availability to work late afternoon/early evening hours as needed
License/Certification:
- LABA Certification
- BCBA Certification (REQUIRED)
Work Location: Would cover individuals at LIFE locations including Plymouth and Cape Cod
