What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cemetery Maintenance Worker position at Life Remembered?
Grandview Memorial Park in Rock Hill, SC is accepting applications to add a team member to our crew. As a cemetery maintenance worker on our team, you will take on the important job of maintaining the overall appearance of our cemetery. This position is responsible for the care, maintenance and repairs of the property, as well as for the safety and security of the employees and visitors of the location.
This position requires someone who can operate and service mechanical maintenance equipment (backhoe, tracker, Kubota, dumpcart, jackhammer, lawnmowers, etc.), with the ability to lift heavy objects up to 65 lbs., to
read maps/diagrams and to work in various weather conditions.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Performing all landscape maintenance duties, such as lawn mowing, weed whacking, debris cleanup, etc.
- Conducting interments
- Installing memorials
- Operating and maintaining equipment
- Observing safety rules
- All functions related to funeral services
- Performing other duties as assigned by the foreman
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 per hour
