Unarmed Security Officer

Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive mindset, strong situational awareness, and the ability to manage conflicts effectively while upholding all safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized activities or security breaches.
• Operate surveillance systems, including CCTV, for comprehensive monitoring of the premises.
• Respond swiftly to alarms and incidents, assess situations, and take appropriate action.
• Administer first aid when necessary to ensure on-site health and safety.
• Enforce site rules and regulations while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
• Perform routine inspections of property and facilities to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as required.
• Support loss prevention by identifying suspicious activity and reporting findings promptly.

Qualifications & Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in surveillance operations and loss prevention techniques is an asset.
• Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions under pressure.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
