In this role you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and maintaining sufficient inventory levels for key customers. You will work closely with customers, LSO Quality and Production departments, to ensure the commitment to the customer is achieved.

Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop strong partnerships with customers to ensure on-time delivery service is consistently met. Routine communication with customers regarding their purchase orders, production status, parts shortages, shipping schedules, as well as problem solving. Open, process and close Work Orders on a timely basis.
- Schedule production in the factory and set Work Order priorities for effective labor utilization and achieve Customer on time delivery requirements.
- Work with customers and LSO Purchasing and suppliers to make sure that there is an adequate supply of parts available to support the production schedules.
- Perform rough cut capacity analysis to support manning planning and work center loading.
- Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects and Work Orders.
- Review Material Requirements through the use of various system planning tools (i.e. MRP or Reorder Reports)
- Interface with Warehouse, QC, and Production personnel to ensure material flow through materials department, production, and shipping to meet the delivery commitment to the customer.
Qualifications

- Experience working with formal ERP systems. Experience in MRP, JIT, and TQM processes. Background in manufacturing environment with medical manufacturing a definite plus
- 4- Year Degree or equivalent and/or Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in planning, purchasing, and scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in PC applications including Word and Excel.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, production employees and customers.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, good with general mathematics, and have the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be physically able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to walk up and down stairs repeatedly and walk extended distances as needed.
