Temporary opportunity to work at a Spinal Implant company in the medical device community overseeing the Accounting & Finance department. This role reports directly to the CFO. Looking for an Accounting Manager to come in on a temporary / 1099 basis for three months. As the previous leader left, Life Spine is currently reorganizing the department and identifying the long term, permanent need.
During this transition, we are looking for a individual to "own" the monthly close process as well as be a liaison for annual audit and tax. In addition, this position will oversee and collaborate with two existing accountants on the team.

Position will require 3-5 days a week onsite.
Qualifications : Four-year degree in Accounting is required along with 3 - 5 years of accounting experience. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in the state of Illinois is a plus. Progressive corporate accounting experience with general ledger management, preparation of financial statements, payroll and annual audits. Good understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Standards (GAAP); Microsoft Dynamics AX experience a plus.

Physical Demands : Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
