Job Title: IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our organization's information technology systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Evaluate complex issues and escalate them to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, peripherals, and software applications.
- Install, upgrade, and update software packages, ensuring proper functionality and compatibility.
- Support basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues, router configurations, and wireless connectivity.
- Assist with maintaining network security measures, such as firewall settings and antivirus software.
- Provide basic training to users on software applications and technology best practices.
- Create and update documentation, including user guides and knowledge base articles, to facilitate self-help and improve user experience.
- Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of hardware and software assets, including tracking warranties and licenses.
- Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and tasks, contributing to a supportive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basis understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and basic troubleshooting techniques.
