Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist provides fundamental support of the marketing management team with primary focus on day-to-day operations, including client management, field coordination and vendor management.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Acts as point of contact for daily communication with the field
- Manages routine client contact and communications
- Manages all relevant department project management activity on a daily basis
- Manages relevant vendor relationships, overseeing day-to-day details
- Creates daily and weekly sales performance analysis reporting to marketing stakeholders
- Develops and drafts creative briefs to support marketing manager/marketing director
- Supports the member acquisition team as needed, including purchase requisitions for all monthly media and other monthly advertising expenditures
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Basic functional marketing and budget skills
- Excellent customer service and project management skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of standard office procedures and computer software
- Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and recommend solutions
Preferred Requirements
2 to 5 years of general marketing experience
