Nursing Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in the Nursing Department at LifeBridge Health. The RN is responsible for managing patient care through the application of the nursing process, utilizing independent judgment, collaboration, and communication with all team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a plan of nursing care, utilizing established clinical pathways implemented by the care delivery team under the supervision of the RN
- Provide and delegate patient care activities based on patient needs and team skills/abilities, supervising the delivery of care by the team
- Evaluate patient response to treatment and nursing interventions, revising the plan of care as needed
- Prepare patients for discharge, monitoring their progress and ensuring a smooth transition home
Required Education and Certifications:
- Associate's Degree or higher required
- CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider certification required
- RN - Registered Nurse licensure required
- NIHSS - National Stroke Assoc NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
Additional Requirements:
As a condition of employment, all new hires are required to receive the first dose of the COVID-19 Vaccination Series prior to their Occupational Health pre-employment assessment, and scheduled to complete the Vaccine Series within the first thirty days of employment.
