What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN - Home Health Care - 2nd and 3rd shift position at LifeBridge Health?
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Staff Resource Pool at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
The LPN will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing and be responsible for developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans for residents. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess basic computer skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for residents
- Attend to daily operations of the unit on a per shift basis
- Assume leadership responsibilities as needed
- Perform basic physical assessment skills and apply general principles of nursing
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (diploma)
- License for Practical Nursing and AHA BLS CPR Certification
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Phillips Monitoring System and EKG Machine
