What are the responsibilities and job description for the ONCOLOGY RN - OUTPATIENT INFUSION position at LifeBridge Health?
Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care for oncology patients following established standards and practices. Demonstrates knowledge of age specific differences in the patient population including late adolescence, adulthood, middle age, and the elderly. This includes physiological, psychological, and developmental differences unique to each group. Ensures that all services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of Carroll Hospital Center.
REQUIREMENTS
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
OCN certification should be within 2 years of hire or after meeting OCN exam requirements of: at least one year of experience as a registered nurse (RN) within the past three years, a minimum of 1,000 clinical experience in hours in oncology nursing practice within 2.5 years, and at least 10 contact hours of oncology nursing training in the form of an elective or continuing education within three years (required to apply for OCN Certification exam).

- Required Associate's Degree; Preferred Bachelor's Degree BSN accredited School of Nursing
- CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
- OCN - Oncology Certified Nurse
- RN - Registered Nurse
- ONS - Chemo, Biotherapy Certification
