Summary
Job Summary:
Responsible for the registration and scheduling of outpatient appointments, collection of co-pays, and handling of medical records. May assist in processing patient referrals. Supports optimization collections for copays. Prepares and prints medical records, assembles charts for clinic use, and processes requests for the release of medical information. Responds to telephone inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
REQUIREMENTS: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology obtained through formal training or previous experience. 1-3 years of experience.
