What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at LifeCare Medical Center?
Highlights of your role:
The Medical Assistant answers the telephone and routes calls, prepares patients for exams and assists with procedures. This position identifies basic signs and symptoms of deviation from normal health status and provides basic information and report to the nurse. The Medical Assistant assures lab work, tests, procedures, and surgeries are scheduled and notifies pre-authorization and hospital of applicable cases.

Pay Range: $21.02-$29.42
*It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case and on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity.
