Lifecore has a Senior Director, Supply Chain Management position available. In this position you will manage, drive and oversee the end-to-end Supply Chain Organization and processes, including but not limited to procurement, warehouse management, inventory, master scheduling, and commercial services. You will also lead and drive all commercial customer interactions, ensuring obligations and commitments are adhered to and driving commercial revenue opportunities. As well as be responsible for ensuring consistent customer business reviews and fostering positive relationships with all commercial customers.
In this critical leadership role, you have the opportunity to:
- Lead supply chain operations; procurement, warehouse operations, inventory control, master scheduling and capacity utilization of plant equipment and commercial services.
- Manage and optimize a global supply chain shipping network.
- Manage commercial customer interactions and relationships.
- Identify and implement best in class SCM technology and infrastructure suitable to the scope and size of the business along with disciplines that underline a supply chain operation.
- Drive operational excellence and best practices across the network targeting cost reduction where applicable. Promote and maintain Lean culture.
- Lead and direct the work and development of all supply chain personnel.
- Corporate planning and implementation activities related to the material purchase, material control and inventory control.
- Participate in senior management strategic planning activities to define and characterize corporate goals and objectives.
- Interface cross-functionally to ensure changes to the production plan and corresponding financial impacts are addressed, review open order status, and coordinate the phasing out of obsolete inventory with the introduction of new or improved items. Lead projects to implement new materials, changes to existing materials and other department improvements.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
- APICS designation preferred.
Experience:
- 15 years of operations and supply chain management experience in positions of progressive responsibility with at least 5 years in a senior level role.
- P&L and Balance sheet responsibility including operating expenses, materials and inventory.
- Supply chain management experience in the medical device or biopharmaceutical industries.
- Contract negotiation, creation and management experience.
- Aseptic manufacturing/fill finish and/or medical device operations experience.
Knowledge, Skills and abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage cost performance, supply/demand forecasting and distribution execution across a variety of product lines.
- Strong analytical, financial and P&L skill required to succeed.
- In depth understanding of medical device and pharmaceutical drug regulations and standards.
- In depth knowledge of key supply chain/logistics processes and current best practices.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to build and foster strong relationships internally across all levels of the organization and externally with our customers.
