LifeGift is currently looking for a Quality Systems Specialist. Are you someone with organ and tissue procurement and/or transplantation experience, along with being proficient in medical records and procedures, and medical terminology.
Do you have excellent organizational, critical thinking, and analytical skills, along with a keen eye for detail? If you believe this sounds like you, and you have an Associate’s degree or equivalent, or 3 years of related experience, you may be the candidate we are looking for!
The Quality Systems Specialist will have the skills to examine the organization's operations, while identifying and assessing where overall efficiencies can be improved. Additionally, this role will ensure compliance with all internal guidelines and regulatory policies.
- Performs audits of donor charts and post recovery information
- Files, maintains, and retrieves medical records
- Records testing results and organ recipient information through utilization of LifeGift’s EMR database
- Communicates with various institutions, agencies and transplant centers
As a condition of employment, you must be able to attain Hospital Badge and EMR Access from all of the LifeGift Hospital Partners
