Description

Robert Half is seeking a Procurement Specialist with experience in managing outsourced services related to our company’s clinical trials and ancillary services related to the development pipeline. This role requires an individual with proven clinical trial outsourcing experience and a strong understanding of the drug development lifecycle.

Start Date : February 2025

Duration : Ongoing

Pay : $70 / hour

Location : Hybrid (NY) or Remote

Key Responsibilities

Develop vendor bids (RFI / RFP) contracts budgets and manage proposals.
Foster crossfunctional and external supplier relationships to drive clinical programs.
Establish clear deliverables through the sourcing process to support supply chain programs.
Review and facilitate legal documents including CDAs CTAs MSAs etc.
Lead vendor selection process and coordinate bid defenses and proposal reviews.
Participate in vendor governance meetings and reporting on supplier performance.

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in biotech / pharma life sciences business or related field.

Minimum five (5) years of direct endtoend biotech / pharma clinical trial outsourcing experience.

Experience in the procuretopay (P2P) process and P2P system.

Excellent interpersonal analytical verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with clinical programs and GxP knowledge preferred.

Requirements

Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat for document handling and editing purposes.

Demonstrated capability in working with Costpoint for project accounting and project management.

Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage client interactions.

Knowledge of Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) for auditing government contracts.

Prior experience with Deltek software for enterprise software and information solutions.

Ability to draft and negotiate contract amendments.

Experience with auditing procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Understanding of billing functions within a contracts administration context.

Strong compliance skills to ensure adherence to regulations and standards.

Familiarity with construction contracts including their negotiation and management.
