Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device RD Consultant for a part-time remote contract role. This unique opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in medical device research and development while working flexibly from anywhere. You will be at the forefront of innovative projects, addressing complex challenges in the medical technology field. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our organization and the quality of medical solutions delivered to patients.

Your Contributions

  • Lead the development and optimization of new medical device prototypes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, clinical, and regulatory, to facilitate the timely execution of RD projects.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in existing products.

Our Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in medical device RD.
  • Proven track record in managing product development cycles from concept through to market launch, with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.

    • Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with CAD software and prototyping techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
