Work for an established respected outpatient services provider that has been providing services to children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other learning, intellectual, and physical disabilities and their families for over 20 years.
Throughout those years, we have expanded services to best support the behavioral, social, and emotional needs of the children and families we serve using evidence-informed practices incorporated from the fields of applied behavior analysis, development, attachment, and neurobiology.
Bachelor level professionals in the Social Work, Psychology, Human Service or similar fields wanted for this position. Desire someone with at least 2 years' experience providing individual and/or family services to adults and children.
We provide a variety of services to people with physical, sensory, learning, intellectual or mental health disabilities. We want applicants who can think outside of the box and will focus on supporting a client creatively in a way the client best learns. Experience with child protection agencies and/or the community centered boards would be helpful. We have contract relationships with all of the major county human service agencies.
Position:
Key credentials: BS or BA
Education requirements: Bachelor's degree or current Master's level student in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Counseling, Social Work (or another related field)
Positions available: Full-Time or Part-Time.
Duties: life skills training (ex: money management, daily schedule and structure, activities of daily living, etc.), supervised visitation between parent(s) and their child(ren), and parenting coaching in the community and at local Department of Human Service buildings. Travel throughout Denver metro required. Weekend availability is highly desired, but not required. Transporting children to visits with their families will be required but not a majority part of the position. Mileage is reimbursed. A reliable car with 100/300/100 insurance required. A safe driving record is required as driving to client homes to provide services is a large part of position. Background checks and fingerprinting will be completed.
Expectations:
You'll learn to utilize both your own clinical/educational skills and the benefits of a team. Clients are served in Douglas, Arapahoe, Denver, Jefferson, and Adams Counties so travel to these areas is required.
Scheduling is independent and flexible. Opportunities exist for Leadership and Program Development.
Work day time slots vary - one day may be 8-3pm, another day may be 1-8pm, another may be 3-5pm. It depends on when schedules match for you and all parties involved.
Looking for any of three types of individuals:
1) Someone who desires additional income and wants to remain at a full-time position elsewhere.
2) A current Master's level student who would like to work around their school schedule and be eligible to complete internship at Lifelong.
3) A person passionate for the child welfare field, helping families, offering skills, support, and parent coaching as a full-time position and enjoys both community and office sessions.

Compensation:
Part-time: $25/hour for sessions conducted
Full-time: $47,500 annual (plus $3,000 bonus paid in installments at 6 months, 9 months, and 12 months of employment)
