2025 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM – Research & Development
The LifeNet Health summer internship is a paid ($20/hour) program and includes project work that aligns with our mission Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope. The projects are designed to engage active learning, provide mentor relationships and leadership development over the course of a 10-week program. As a fun bonus, our interns are provided with 8 weeks of golf lessons and a set of clubs to use during the internship program with an end-of-program golf tournament!
The Research & Development internship project will provide you with hands-on experience in a corporate environment where you will be exposed to the multiple functions of the Research & Development team to support the business and drive corporate initiatives.

The Research & Development internship project will provide you with hands-on experience in a corporate environment where you will be exposed to the multiple functions of the Research & Development team to support the business and drive corporate initiatives.
Project Details/Training
- You will investigate the development and testing of tissue-specific biosynthetic product prototypes for use.
- You will work with tissue processing, graft prototyping, cell culture, and molecular assay systems to facilitate material optimization, guide prototype design, and enable predictive modeling for the development of applications.
- You will also assist with targeted production operations and opportunities.
- You must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree. BA degree in Biology, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology preferred.
- You must be a rising junior, senior, or a recent graduate pursuing a graduate degree.
- You must be available to commit to the 10-week program (June 2 – August 8), full-time, 40 hours/week.
